Archaeological Park of Pompeii
June 8th – Half day Tour
Guided tour to Archaelogical Park of Pompeii, one of the most important archaeological park in the world. Walking through the ancient streets you can visit the houses, with their wonderful frescoes, once residences of roman patricians before the tremendous eruption of A.D. 79.
Recommendations: bring water, and sun protection if you may need, wear a hat and comfortable shoes.
Naples Historical Centre
June 9th – Half day Tour
Guided tour to one of most important historical centre in Europe, UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995.
Visit Piazza del Gesù Nuovo, Piazza San Domenico Maggiore and walk down the ancient Cardo and Decumano (greek-roman layout of the city). The guided tour will stop at the sites of greatest interest: squares, churches, obelisks.
Visit to Santa Chiara Cloister, with its unique majolica decorations, and to the famous Cristo Velato, the outstandign 18th century masterpiece in Cappella Sansevero.
Caserta Royal Palace

Guided tour to Royal Palace in Caserta, built by the House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies as their main residence as kings of Naples. It is the largest palace erected in Europe during the 18th century. In 1997, the palace was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site; its nomination described it as “the swan song of the spectacular art of the Baroque, from which it adopted all the features needed to create the illusions of multidirectional space”. In terms of volume, the Royal Palace of Caserta is the largest royal residence in the world with over 1 million m³ and covering an area of 47,000 m² with its beautiful gardens and fountains.
